I’m getting a

a wannabe fury
try holding it all
in (makes more
of a fury than a
wannabe). I tell
it to shut up. “Get
ahold of yourself!”
I say to it. The
goo, I guess.
“What would you
have me call it?”
Okay. C’est vrai.
We have to do
this sidewalk
together so we
may as well
make it great
(again?). Like
it ever was. It
as in all of us.
I’m not a bad guy
but I (should I tell
him?) play one on
teevee. Oui! I
spent a lot of time
drooling about be-
ing slathered in
holy matrimony.
That was the other
guy. We’re me now.
