Electrical Miscalculations
there were several electrical
miscalculations. we counted
at least eight. until the lights
flickered again mid-afternoon.
since this was a holy day, most
of us had checked out. undressed,
a lack of distress. gleaming, the
parade held no witnesses. no
mistresses. only christmases.
