A Pair of Lemon Towelettes
We pulled up. We got out of
the car. We walked in and
sat down, all smiles. We
were happy as clams
at high water, or else
we contemplated clams’
general happiness, won
dering, as always. We liked
to wonder. We very much
appreciated wonder. And
here, after we finished our
proud and grease-infused
meals, we ripped the heads
off the containers of our
moist napkins and cleaned
each of our fingers with glee.
