Everything is shorter than a sound bite these days.
But seriously, everything is shorter than a sound
bite! Even couplets are worthless. This morning’s
interview with Clint Eastwood was the best (he was
there in spirit). Then we walk down to the river
and sit for a while. The water flowing. Everyone’s
bitter but me. I continue decompressing for a bit,
read a few books, research 21st century methods
of saying hello, living better, and looking better.
Having dropped off the Altima, we walk to the office
to watch the fireworks. Everyone seems good about
about leaving, including me. And I feel good about that.
