hot to the touch

always hard 

you was always hot to the touch
i thought maybe this is just a scary planet but all the fear
was so sincere.  can’t you just say it melted?  not this year

but when it snowed and we were so slow and cold don’t move.
when the ice came from the sky and we got frozen for each other
oh those were the days we couldn’t move.  those were the

more days of froze is all.  can we just have
another day?  what does it matter hot or
