Pandemical Blame)
I will admit
these thank you
notes have often
been quite mean.
Today’s excuse:
I’m cranky from
my booster of
vaccine
for the scourge
what cracked the
egg of earth as if
with a ball peen.
So please excuse
the twists and dark
ish turns of these
here verses
which at times must
seem less gratitude
than grim Gem
inian curses,
the words laid
bare and boring,
no hint of
poetic sheen.
But trust, it’s just
the viral mood
I’m in. I blame
